Pontoon came about through years of & testing & refining my small wave shapes , a blend of my favourites features from a fish , egg & mini simmons style shapes . A balanced shape that serves you with a consistent & predictable ride , deck is concaved & deepens in rear foot this allows the beveled rail flat deck to bring you a little lower to the water while keep your feet locked in , best ridden small to keep the rail line short & swing weight down . I have packed in lots of foam with the addition of a beaked nose & bevel rail which hold volume in specific areas , tail rail is low to allow board to be sensitive off the back foot . I feel I have designed a balanced board that will flow effortlessly with out adding too much tail width so the board is quick rail to rail . By setting fins on the rail only it allows water to move quickly through the concave bottom with minimal drag , I have a number of fin templates that work really well & each serve you with a slightly different feeling
